We have spent over 25 hours over the past ten days putting these teams together. We spoke with coaches from this last fall for input, and reviewed tryout scores. We recognize tryouts and results are sometimes imperfect. With this in mind, it is anticipated that limited movement among teams will occur this year. With our goal to help each player develop to their highest potential, we will make an effort over the next few months to ensure that the right players are on the right teams, and that team level and competition matches the players' technical and athletic development level.
Anticipate movement both up and down. For example, we may have placed a player in an older age bracket, but upon review, we determine that it is better for this player's development to be moved down to a younger team. We ask you to be understanding and supportive of this process. When you accept your place on your team, you accept a place in the club and may be moved up or down, depending upon club and/or team needs and/or individual skill level and personal development. If you are initially placed with a team and then moved up or down to a different team, there will be NO REFUNDS should you disagree or be unhappy with the movement.
For the U12 age category, we are considering forming an additional team (for a total of three U12 teams), due to interest and numbers. This may necessitate some movement for the current U12 players.
We will not move players to be with friends or for social reasons.
